Every week during the 2017 season, we’ll check in with California’s five MLB teams. Who’s up? Who’s down? Who has the cheapest ticket this week and who will play in the best series? The Golden State is home to the best position player in baseball, the sport’s best pitcher, and the 25 future batting cage managers who play for the Padres.

Best Record Last Week: Los Angeles Dodgers, 5-1.

Worst Record Last Week: San Francisco Giants, 0-6.

Best Attendance (cumulative avg.): Los Angeles Dodgers, 44,525.

Worst Attendance (cumulative avg.): Oakland, 17,979.

Huell Howser Memorial ‘Is This Guy Serious!?’ Outstanding Performance Video:

Oakland’s Khris Davis walked off the Yankees in the 10th on Thursday. This week—a 4-2 mark for the Athletics—has been the high mark in an otherwise fairly forgettable campaign for the #greencollar baseball guys.

Gob Bluth’s Huge Mistake of the Week:

The Giants’ 0-6 mark this week was a confluence of poor decisions and poor luck, plain and simple. But, Buster Posey’s Wednesday ankle injury, which only kept him off the field a few days, is the result of an organization unwilling to acknowledge reality. The longer you strain Posey by allowing him to catch—he’s got 381 innings behind the dish this season as opposed to 80 at first base, which is a career high for him, it should be noted—the more you increase the chances that he’ll sustain lower body injuries like this and worse. The organization’s continued inability to find him a permanent spot on the field that doesn’t involve squatting above a bum ankle is a serious mistake, given that he’s the only above-average batter (elite, really, with a .978 OPS) in the lineup now and for the foreseeable future.

Cheapest Ticket This Week: $6, Sunday 6/25 Rockies @ Dodgers.

California Series to Watch: Rockies @ Dodgers, 6/23-6/25. The boys in blue are a game behind the Rockies for the NL West lead heading into this weekend. The jockeying for the West crown will be the race of the summer in an otherwise wildly unbalanced NL, so it’ll be captivating to see high-stakes baseball in June in Chavez.

Upcoming Games:

Athletics: 6/19-6/22 vs. Astros, 6/23-6/25 @ White Sox.

Giants: 6/19-6/22 @ Braves, 6/23-6/25 vs. Mets.

Dodgers: 6/19-6/22 vs. Mets, 6/23-6/25 vs. Rockies.

Angels: 6/20-6/22 @ Yankees, 6/23-6/25 @ Red Sox.

Padres: 6/19-6/21 @ Cubs, 6/23-6/25 vs. Tigers.

Home series in bold.
